Singapore – Sunset Sail on the Royal Albatross

My job as a commercial event photographer gets me to travel, meet interesting people and places everyday. Last week, I was engaged to photograph an event on board a luxury sailing yacht, the Royal Albatross.
The Royal Albatross started her life in Chicago cruising the Great Lakes. She was featured in the Batman movie “A Dark Knight” as Bruce Wayne’s luxury yacht. An epic journey of more than 15,000 kilometres later from North America to the tropical waters of South East Asia, she arrived in Singapore.
Since arriving in Singapore, approximately 360,000 man hours have been invested re-designing and re-fitting Royal Albatross resulting in a sailing ship of unmatched quality and splendour. A ship designed to entertain and impress with 22 sails, over 650 square meters of canvas and over 60,000 RGB lights to set Royal Albatross’s mood for whatever the occasion requires.
The Royal Albatross can be chartered for any corporate to private events as well as weddings. The private event I was on was going on a sunset sail from Resorts World Sentosa to the surrounding waters of Singapore. There is also a romantic sunset dinner cruise that is open to the public.
