The Royals Steakhouse – Halal Steaks served with Chilli Padi
We love our steaks. And in Singapore it is difficult to get good halal steaks. The Royals Steakhouse though have never disappointed us and we have been there for our monthly dose of steaks (sometimes 3-4 times a month).
The Royals started off as a cake cafe and they launched a steakhouse at Jalan Pisang in 2015 in a little quaint long shop house. Ever since Ann and I have been here, we have never gone without their steaks for more than a month. The record was 4 times in a month!
Ann would usually go for the Australia Lamb chops. The Lamb chops are sourced from the pristine, lush green pastures of Southern Australia from the youngest, freshest and most succulent lamb in the world. We always have it medium to bring out the juiciness of the lamb and the meat just falls off the bone. It is so good that Ann could not stop licking the bone!
If you are big meat eater like us, forget about all the steaks in the menu and go straight for the Cote De Boeuf. Cote De Boeuf is French for rib steak with the bone still attached to bring out the maximum flavours of the steak.
We always have it medium rare and it comes with 3 different sauces and condiments. The Royals Steakhouse really knows how to maximise the flavours by serving it with large flakes of sea salt and chilli padi (bird eye chilli) for some spicy heat to the juicy steak. Being Asian, who can ever turn down chilli padi?
We have been coming here since 2015 and so far The Royals Steakhouse have never let us down. Already craving for some good steaks?
Drop by and you won’t be disappointed.
