Yotel – Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Orchard Road
If you have been very observant like us, there is a small plot of land between Shaw Towers in Orchard Road and The Royal Thai Embassy which is boarded up and a hotel being built on top of the International Building carpark.
We have always wondered how are they going to build a luxury hotel with such a small space and on top of an existing building.
Come 1st October, Yotel Singapore will be the Asia’s first Yotel, a brand of affordable luxury hotels chain which has branches in New York, Paris and London.
The luxury hotel features a smart compact designed (answered our question above) room or cabins which they like to call them with high ceilings, satellite TV, rain showers as well as Smartbeds with high-end Serta mattresses.
There are facilities such as a 24-hour gym, outdoor swimming pool as well as a restaurant to cater to your every need.
We are already sold and thinking of booking a night here for our next staycation. And of course, I already plan to land on the Serta mattresses like a Fat Starfish.
