Launch of Bilingual Children’s Book Titled Tim’s Adventure

Seth and I were invited to the launch of a bilingual children’s book entitled Tim’s Adventure (Pengembaraan Tim) at the Visual Arts Centre recently.

About the book:

Pengembaraan Tim (Tim’s Adventure) is a bilingual (Malay-English) children’s picture book with augmented reality, and a full animation with a specially-composed sing-along theme song that tells the story of Tim, a hawksbill turtle, hatched on Small Sisters Island, Singapore and his incredible journey underwater. As he journeyed across seas and oceans, he met with other marine animals with a multitude of characters – the friendly ones and also the not-so-friendly ones. He also met his childhood friend, Nad and together, they navigate the underwater world back to where they were born.

Themes: Marine Life, Sustainable Education, Singapore’s turtle hatchery on Small Sisters’ Island

We had an amazing time at the launch with a storytelling session with Minister Desmond Lee who is also a character in the book.

There was a sing-along session too and Seth was really into the music and happily danced away in front of Minister Desmond Lee!

The event was wrapped up with the signing of Tim’s Adventure book by the author Rhaimie Wahap as well as the brother & Illustrator Rizal Wahap

And of course, Seth received a signed copy.
