24 Hour Travellers – Treasure Trove of Asian Vanlife Videos & Info by Sam & Rene

If you have been researching about overland travel, #Vanlife or campervan travel in Asia, you would have probably come across videos by 24 Hour Travellers by Sam and Rene.

Sam is a musician from Singapore while Rene, a Malaysian, used to be a photographer. Together in April 2017, they decided to simplify their lives by selling most or all the things they own and move into their DIY converted campervan to travel the world.

They are currently travelling around Malaysia to get used to living in a van while planning to make an overland trip from Malaysia to the UK in 2020.

While they have been travelling Malaysia and parts of Asia, Sam & Rene have been making countless videos about Vanlife, campervan conversions as well as interviews of the many Vanlifers they meet on the road.

There is a treasure trove of Vanlife information on their Youtube channel and we follow them religiously to prepare our own overland trip in the future.

One of their latest videos is about a Singaporean couple Martin & Jacinda who quit their jobs to travel from Singapore to Portugal in their DIY converted Hiace van named Bruce.

The video has since gone viral. Ann and I believe that are more aspiring overlanders out there in Singapore. The only problem we have is lack of information on how to get started.

Sam and Rene have been helpful with their content to get your Vanlife dreams to come true.
